Membership Meeting

Executive Director Kim Hankins welcomed members.
Hankins announced Stu Williams request to step down as President due to heavy workload.
Rich Gillock replaced Williams as President and Jack Piatt replaced Gillock as Vice President.
Hankins then announced Tom King’s resignation effective June 27th.
Discussion ensued of movie production Shannon’s Rainbow to begin shooting July 23rd.
Announced MSOA / Magna participation in Pittsburgh Youth Sports League on August 7th.
Hankins reported recent purse increase and likelihood of another increase in July or August.
Hankins reported on successful grooms and trainers health insurance programs.
Discussion was held regarding Valley View agreement.
Newly implemented Drivers fees were then discussed.
During open forum, the members and Board discussed the need for the Meadows TV telecast to be reinstated and other issues regarding the lack of opportunity for owners to view races.
